Dunston UTS' veteran defender and coach Chris Swailes is preparing for a return to Wembley for what could be the last time as a player this weekend and he's hoping to take The Vase back to the north-east with him. The 41-year-old had a long career as a professional with clubs such as Ipswich Town, Bury and Rotherham United but has been winding down in non-League over the last few seasons whilst also working on his coaching credentials. And after seeing his beloved Newcastle United in two FA Cup Finals as a specatator in relatively recent times, he's now ready to run out as a player under the Arch for this all North-East Final with West Auckland Town. "For us to get to Wembley is a massive achievement for the club," he told FATV. "We set out on this FA Vase run and we've taken it round-by-round. Before you know it, you're in the quarters and there's Wembley in sight. "All of a sudden we were in a double-legged Semi-Final, which is where Dunston have never been before. "There's a trophy up for grabs, but going there as a player should be a great occasion." The official Youtube channel of the FA Cup - the world's largest and oldest football competition.
